I'd like to think that everyone I know has been asking me for this, but it just wouldn't be true. No one has asked me to write a blog.

But I'm finding it difficult to keep in touch with everyone and write the same things over and over to different people, so it just seemed practical, you know?

Well, I'm back at APU! It's been awhile, but it's so good to be back. :)

I've made new friends, seen old friends, not recognized old friends, and found out some friends have different last names or have tiny little additions or regular additions of the female persuasion who have taken their last name to their families!

It seems like people have continued living their lives while I was gone...weird...

I moved back down a week and a half before classes started so I could settle in, see people, and make sure all my classes and finances and everything were in order.

I also went to the beach, had a bonfire, met new friends, stayed up late watching movies, went night swimming, played truth or dare, and just staying up late hanging out with friends of course. :)

But then the worst happened.
School actually started.

So not cool.

I started out with 16 units and 10 classes, but after getting a job, and realizing that my brain is dustier than I thought and I need to study more, I dropped 2 classes and now I'm only carrying 12 units with 8 classes.
Ah the life of being a music major...
:)

Luckily for now I haven't started my voice lessons yet so I still have a life for now!

The weekends and evenings I've gotten to hang out with friends and go out and have fun. I've gone to my roomie's house Labor Day weekend (her parents were having a bbq), gone to the LA County Fair, went to the canyon and ran into drag racers (not literally), and tonight I'm going to see monster trucks!

Such random things, but it's been tons of fun. :)

I miss home though. I miss my family, I miss my CGCC family, and I miss my kids. But I'll be home for Thanksgiving.

So overall things have been going well. I have a crazy schedule, but I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'll try and keep you all posted on what's going on...I know you're all on the edge of your chairs with excitement!!
